The 4 Archangels in the 4 directions

The 4 Archangels in the 4 directions

Angelic connections are very personal experiences. In what concerns to the angels, as in many other things in life, there isn’t such a thing as “the right way to do it”. Even though most books/articles/videos place the 4 main Archangels in specific cardinal directions (e.g. Archangel Michael at South, Archangel Gabriel at West, Archangel Uriel at North, Archangel Raphael at East), my intuition took me towards a totally different approach.

To me, intuitively and based on my meditative, angelic experiences:

  • Archangel Michael is at the North, which I sense as “protection”, the main trait associated with this Archangel, and where the local St. Michael Mount is located from where I live.
  • Archangel Gabriel is at the East, the direction of dawn, the beginning/birth of a new day, and Gabriel brings “clarity” into our being/life as the rising sun, as well as the good news and the support for the new projects/creations/children.
  • Archangel Uriel is at the South, which is the mid-day Sun position, the moment when there is more light, and “light” is the main specialty of this Archangel (his name means “the light of God”).
  • Archangel Raphael is at the West, the direction associated with the element of water that to me represent the healing waters of life, and “healing” is the specialty of this Archangel (his name means “the healing of God” or “God heals”).

I love to invoke them in the 4 directions and to feel them around me creating a sacred space, while blessing me with their light/energy/specialty. This special Force facilitates and empowers other angelic experiences, pushing me forward/upwards on my life journey/mission.

After reading so much about the “conventional” cardinal positions of these Archangels, I decided to give it a try. And you know what? When I switch them around to comply with the available angelic information, the experience simply ended. And for weeks, I had… nothing. I am not try to say or convince you that the way I do it is the right way – it is the right way FOR ME – rather I am highlighting the importance of listening and following our intuition. Use what resonates with you (from others wisdom/experiences) and adjust/adapt that to your own being and spiritual experiences. Honoring our intuition/intuitive feelings is half way towards the experiences we are open up to.

When I finally realized “my way” and honored that, I had a beautiful, joyful angelic experience. I felt literally ascending in a spiral of light, surrounded by the Archangels in the directions I “feel” them. They were like singing although there was profound silence, they were like dancing although they were not moving, just suspended there, and I was ascending towards the Light/Source, while they were holding a sacred space around me (and my guardian angels). They were confirming me “my way” and how things work best for me. Intuition is our most accurate GPS, always in sync with our soul. Make sure you consult it, so you can be guided towards beautiful experiences and meaningful spiritual growth.

  1. Wow! I loved reading your post. Yes, in this spiritual journey we should listen to our intuitions. Because we are here not to follow old beliefs & rules but to break them and pave a new paths. Our heart is our compass. Lots of love and light.

    1. I am glad it resonated with you. Hearing and honoring our intuition is a BIG step towards the NEW (life, path, Earth). Of course, is more easy to say than to do, because ego and the old have always something to say. Its a inner, subtle and error&trial work, but its worthy, much worthy… Take care beautiful soul. 🌼
